Madrid, January 29th, 2024 – GLS Spain, a leading parcel and courier services company, announces a strategic partnership with Radical Storage, a leading luggage storage platform. This agreement will give users the opportunity to leave their luggage securely and conveniently at GLS Spain Parcel Shops they wish to join.
Radical Storage is the global network of reference for luggage storage in the travel sector. With more than 7,000 points around the world, which they call “Angels”, they offer the solution to those travellers who want to forget about their luggage and leave it in a trusted place to continue enjoying their trip.
The agreement will allow the Parcel Shops and agencies in the GLS network to expand their portfolio of services, increasing the advantages of the Out Of Home delivery model and becoming a new point of deposit for suitcases. For its part, Radical Storage will be able to expand its network with the geographical coverage of the GLS convenience points, attracting a greater influx of people to the establishments.
For Luis Doncel, Group Region MD Iberia & Ireland, “this alliance marks an important milestone in our OOH service offering, strengthening our position in the logistics sector and enriching the experience of our customers; especially those looking for flexible and secure luggage storage solutions”.
For Andrea Soncin, Head of Global Expansion at Radical Storage, “we believe in this collaboration and synergy with GLS Spain, above all because of a very similar business model and a philosophy of growth and expansion that totally reflects our own. This collaboration has no limits, in fact, Spain is just a starting point that will open the doors to all the other countries where GLS currently operates”.
