On June 19th, the MAV Cluster will hold a technical conference on the latest innovations in coatings, surface finishes, and surface functionalization, which will take place at the GPAINNOVA facilities in Barcelona.
Titled ‘Innovation in coatings and functional surfaces, the conference will bring together industry professionals, companies, and technology centers to explore high-value solutions developed by MAV Cluster members. These innovations are applicable to a wide range of materials—including metals, polymers, and ceramics, and are designed to meet the demanding technical requirements of various sectors.
The program is organized into three thematic blocks:
- Metal finishes and coatings for demanding applications: solutions designed to enhance resistance to wear, corrosion, and extreme conditions.
- Paints, additives, and applied chemical functionalities: technologies offering customized surface functionalities through specialized formulations
- Advanced functionalization: intelligent coatings with advanced properties such as thermal regulation, antimicrobial action, and fluid repellency.
Attendees will also participate in a guided tour of GPAINNOVA’s facilities.
The conference is free and in-person, subject to registration. It is aimed at professionals, companies, and organizations interested in surface treatment technologies. It is expected to be held until capacity is reached.
