A fabulous gala celebrating a decade of progress by FLUX, the only global Transgender advocacy organization to present the first-ever FLUX Awards:

Jazzmun Nichcala Crayton - The Legacy of Light Award

Michael Weinstein - The Righteous Rebel Award

Villano Antillano - The Built to Inspire Award

WHY:

FLUX has remained committed to raising the profile of the transgender and non-binary community by leveraging social events and innovative advocacy initiatives. As the only coordinated global Trans-led organization, FLUX has:

  • Surveyed communities and their wellness needs globally and published the results to hold healthcare systems accountable for meeting the needs of the community
  • Created the nation’s first community workspace at the Connie Norman Transgender Empowerment Center for local Trans-led organizations, at no cost to them, supporting the expansion of their services

  • Collaborated with major network studios and Organizations, such as Discovery, Fox, Paramount, LatiNation TV, and DC Comics, to ensure authentic Trans narratives in media and entertainment

  • Committed to the empowerment of the community, conducting the first Workforce Development and leadership workshops
