On 18 December, ASTICAN participated in the round table discussion at the Feel The Metal Power 2025 event, organised by the Provincial Federation of Small and Medium-sized Metal and New Technology Companies of Las Palmas (FEMEPA). This conference brought together companies, professionals and training institutions with the aim of sharing initiatives and experiences related to digital transformation, technological innovation and the adoption of Industry 4.0 solutions in the metal and new technologies sector.
Representing ASTICAN, Andrés Suárez Betancor participated in the round table, contributing the company’s vision on digital advances applied to the naval sector and the role that innovation plays in industrial competitiveness. The session allowed for the sharing of knowledge, discussion of trends and highlighting of the importance of collaboration between the business and academic communities to continue promoting new technological capabilities on the island.
