Transflo, the trusted leader in freight tech automation solutions, today announced that CEO Renee Krug has been named a 2026 Top Woman to Watch in Transportation by the Women In Trucking Association (WIT). The honor will be featured in the upcoming edition of Redefining the Road, WIT’s official magazine.

The Top Women to Watch in Transportation recognition program, now in its 10th year, is selected by the editorial staff of Redefining the Road and honors women who have made significant career accomplishments in the past 12 to 18 months while exemplifying WIT’s mission to encourage the employment of women in the trucking industry, promote their accomplishments, and minimize the obstacles they face.

Under Krug’s leadership, Transflo has experienced a period of significant growth and transformation. In the past 18 months, the company earned a spot on the Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies and expanded its Workflow AI automation platform to carriers and the LTL sector. Krug has also fostered a workplace culture that has earned Transflo recognition as a Tampa Bay Top Workplace, a Top Workplaces Culture Excellence Award winner for Innovation and Work-Life Flexibility, and a Top Company for Women to Work in Transportation by WIT.

This is not the first time WIT has recognized Krug's impact on the transportation and logistics industry. In 2018, she was honored with the Distinguished Woman in Logistics Award by the Women In Trucking Association, one of the organization's most prestigious honors, in recognition of her exceptional leadership as CFO of GlobalTranz. The 2026 Top Woman to Watch designation marks a continued thread of recognition from WIT that spans nearly a decade of Krug's career, underscoring her enduring influence and commitment to advancing women in transportation.

“Renee has been a transformative leader for Transflo, and this recognition from the Women In Trucking Association is well-deserved,” said Bill Vitti, President of Transflo. “She has a rare ability to combine strategic vision with a genuine commitment to the people around her, whether that’s our team members, our customers, or the broader industry. Under her leadership, we’ve not only grown as a company but built a culture where innovation and inclusion go hand in hand. This award reflects the standard Renee sets every day.”

The Women In Trucking Association’s mission is to encourage the employment of women in the trucking industry, promote their accomplishments, and minimize the obstacles they face. The Top Women to Watch program recognizes professionals across a range of roles, including leadership, operations and safety, HR and talent management, sales and marketing, and driving.
