Yesterday, we proudly inaugurated the very first edition of the European Pulse Forum by POLITICO and beBartlet in Barcelona.

We launched this initiative driven by a clear mission:
The objective: transcending rhetoric to truly understand European sentiment and bridge the gap between representatives and the represented. We want to build robust public policies for a complex global era.

The conviction: leading from knowledge and mobilizing society through a democratic and scientific approach—one that transcends intuition to create strategic windows for collaborative exchange.

The ambition: generating high-level insights that enrich the media landscape, elevate the democratic discourse, and contribute to shaping Europe’s broader political priorities.

An unparalleled gathering of leaders:

Yesterday’s kickoff was marked by powerful insights from our president Adrian Jofre Bosch, Jamil Anderlini, Mayor of Barcelona, Jaume Collboni Cuadrado, Ana Palacio, US Ambassador, Ivo Daalder, Montenegrin Prime Minister Milojko Mickey Spajicć, and Wolfgang Schmidt.
Today, the momentum continues. We are bringing together a total of 40 speakers and 500 attendees from 10+ nationalities, and over 80 accredited press members featuring key interventions from Teresa Ribera, Stéphane Séjourné , Executive Vice-Presidents of the European Commission, Salvador Illa Roca, President of the Generalitat de Catalunya, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, President of the Spanish PP, or Kristina Kallas, Estonian Minister.

The data behind the decisions.

We will be analyzing the results of our exclusive survey together with these leaders by Cluster17 España —capturing the voices of almost 7,000 citizens across 6 EU countries— to unpack the continent’s most pressing challenges.

The European Pulse Forum by POLITICO and beBartlet is supported by Moeve, Barcelona City Council, Generalitat de Catalunya, EFPIA – European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations, Google, Redeia and Fundación ”la Caixa”.
