We are excited to announce the latest release of Plesk Obsidian: v18.0.77.

This update brings one of the most significant accessibility improvements in recent Plesk history, introduces native ACME protocol support with the new ACME SSL extension, adds support for the GoAccess web statistics tool, and delivers a wide range of fixes, platform updates, and security improvements across Linux and Windows.

A Major Step Forward in Accessibility

Over the past year, we have completed a large-scale update of the Plesk interface with a strong focus on accessibility.

With this release, Plesk moves significantly closer to meeting the expectations of the European Accessibility Act (EAA) and the WCAG 2.1 guidelines, helping partners and customers prepare for upcoming accessibility requirements while also improving the overall user experience.

What Changed?

We updated around 200 of the most frequently used pages across the Plesk interface and its most popular extensions.

Key accessibility improvements include:

  • Improved compatibility with screen readers, including VoiceOver
  • Better keyboard navigation across interactive elements
  • Clear and consistent focus indicators
  • Support for interface scaling up to 200%
  • Improved accessibility behavior throughout the most commonly used workflows

These improvements reflect our continued commitment to usability, compliance readiness, and platform stability. Accessibility is more than just compliance; it’s about creating a better experience for everyone. Our users who rely on assistive technologies such as screen readers or keyboard-only navigation can now use Plesk more reliably and independently.

Introducing GoAccess Support for Linux

Support has been introduced for GoAccess, a modern open source web log analyzer and interactive viewer.

Available for Plesk for Linux (except CentOS 7 and CloudLinux 7), GoAccess delivers fast, actionable HTTP statistics and visual server reports.

With GoAccess, users can:

  • Monitor website traffic in real time
  • Detect anomalies more easily
  • Troubleshoot issues faster
  • Access interactive and visually rich reporting

New ACME SSL Extension

This release also introduces ACME SSL, a new extension that adds native ACME protocol support to Plesk. The extension integrates with SSL It! and enables issuing both wildcard and non-wildcard SSL/TLS certificates.

ACME SSL:

  • Works with any ACME-compatible Certificate Authority
  • Supports both HTTP-01 and DNS-01 challenge types
  • Supports External Account Binding (EAB)
  • Can automatically attempt certificate renewals before expiration

This gives users greater flexibility in certificate management while simplifying automated SSL/TLS deployment workflows.

Feature Improvements

v18.0.77 also includes several highly requested usability and platform improvements.

SSL It! No Longer Requires an Email Address

Plesk no longer requires users to provide an email address when requesting SSL/TLS certificates from Let’s Encrypt via the SSL It! extension.

Expanded TuxCare Support

The TuxCare Extended Lifecycle Support for PHP extension now supports:

  • Debian 13
  • AlmaLinux 10

Built-in Code Editor Changes Rolled Back

Based on customer feedback, we rolled back recent changes to the built-in Code Editor.

The editor will:

  • No longer open in a separate drawer
  • Support tabs again
