Alimia Shipyards Group continues to strengthen its commitment to excellence, trust and continuous improvement with the achievement of the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification, the internationally recognised standard for information security management.
This certification confirms that the Group has implemented a robust Information Security Management System (ISMS) in line with the most up-to-date international requirements, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the information managed across its operations. In an increasingly digital environment, where cybersecurity risks and data protection challenges are constantly evolving, ISO/IEC 27001:2022 provides a structured and effective framework for identifying, assessing and managing information security risks.
The certification is the result of coordinated efforts by the Information Technology teams and key functional areas across Astican, Astander and Astibal, supported by ongoing training, internal awareness and a clear commitment to best practices in information security. This collective approach reinforces a strong security culture throughout the Group.
ISO/IEC 27001:2022 now complements other internationally recognised certifications already held by the Group, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, consolidating an integrated management system aligned with global standards. Through this achievement, Alimia Shipyards Group reaffirms its dedication to safeguarding information, strengthening stakeholder confidence and ensuring its shipyards are well prepared for current and future challenges.
