Designed for every user: Introducing Workflows Runner
Workflows Runner has been introduced in this latest release, allowing workflows to be launched through a dedicated ‘runner’ environment. This easy-to-use desktop application provides a streamlined way to trigger and manage workflow executions.

A new File Dropper node has been added to Workflows Creator, enabling drag-and-drop file handling, so users of Workflows Runner can manage input files more easily and quickly within workflow configurations.
Free-of-charge for every user, Workflows Runner provides real-time team collaboration and puts automation into the hands of anyone who needs to orchestrate processes or run workflows of any complexity.
A brand-new REST API v1 is now available in GitHub, providing programming access to Workflows Creator functionality. External systems can integrate with Workflows via standard HTTP requests, enabling deeper automation and third-party tool integration.
New Nodes and Codecs Available
A dedicated AS-11 node has been added, allowing users to encode AS-11 UK DPP-compliant MXF files directly within Workflows Creator. Generate broadcast-ready AS-11 outputs without leaving your production pipeline.
In addition, the MainConcept Multi-Codec package has been expanded and updated to version 16, bringing the latest improvements, format support, and performance enhancements to encoding and transcoding workflows.
This version also adds support for the NotchLC codec. This high-performance intermediate codec massively accelerates encoding and decoding, making it perfect for content creators and virtual production environments.
Upgraded Cloud Collaboration with Frame.io v4 and Native macOS Performance
Frame.io V4 support has been introduced, featuring improved authentication, better project management, and a smoother integration experience for collaborative workflows. This ensures a cloud-based review and approval process stays modern, secure, and efficient for Frame.io users.
This upgrade also ensures Workflows Creator feels responsive and powerful on the latest generation of macOS hardware, now running fully native on Apple Silicon, unlocking significant performance on M1, M2, and M3 devices. With the addition of Metal support, users can expect significantly faster overall processing, improved stability and more efficient use of system resources.
Advanced Automated VR Stitching & Stereo Calibration Features
VR creators will find this release especially beneficial thanks to three powerful new nodes that dramatically reduce manual calibration time. This allows immersive professionals to automatically calibrate VR camera setups with a single action with the new Stitch Autocalibrate node, removing much of the guesswork from immersive stitching.
In addition to this node, Apply Mesh Node and Stitch Align Mesh Node have been added to this version. Workflows users can now easily apply previously exported VR Mesh data to automate stereo corrections and align VR Mesh calibration for enhanced stereo accuracy.
Together, these nodes open the door to highly automated, reliable VR stitching pipelines – the perfect choice for professional immersive content production.
