TSG, the European leader in technical services for responsible mobility solutions and essential energy infrastructure, announces the acquisition of Network Power Connections (NPC), a UK Independent Connection Provider (ICP) specialising in the design and delivery of new and upgraded electrical infrastructure. With this acquisition, TSG further strengthens its power connection capabilities in the United Kingdom and expands its ability to deliver turnkey electrical solutions for commercial, industrial and EV charging projects.

With more than 50 acquisitions completed in less than four years across nearly 20 countries, TSG continues its strategic transformation, combining targeted external growth and organic development to build the strongest pan-European network of skilled technical teams and deliver integrated energy solutions to customers with the most demanding requirements.

A recognised UK specialist in power connections and electrical infrastructure

Headquartered in Worcester, West Midlands, Network Power Connections is a NERS-accredited Independent Connection Provider. The company delivers new and upgraded electrical infrastructure across the UK, supporting commercial and industrial developments, warehousing and EV charging hubs.

NPC combines in-house design, project management, civil works and jointing capabilities. Its experienced technical and management teams operate nationwide and have built long-standing relationships with a diversified customer base.

Adding grid connection capacity and turnkey electrical expertise across the UK

The integration of Network Power Connections brings additional grid connection, design and project execution capabilities to TSG in the UK. NPC’s NERS accreditation and nationwide reach further strengthen TSG’s ability to support customers from the grid connection through to downstream electrical infrastructure, an increasingly important component of complex electrification projects.

The acquisition also creates strong opportunities for cooperation with TSG’s existing UK teams, particularly Skerritt Electrical. By combining their respective capabilities, TSG will be able to provide an increasingly comprehensive range of turnkey electrical solutions, bringing together grid connections, high- and low-voltage infrastructure, EV charging, solar and battery energy storage systems.

This acquisition also reinforces TSG’s geographical coverage across England and strengthens the Group’s position in the UK Independent Connection Provider market. It will support the development of larger and more integrated projects while creating additional opportunities in battery storage, solar and broader power infrastructure.

By joining TSG, Network Power Connections will benefit from the Group’s European network, technical expertise and long-term development strategy, while contributing its strong local relationships, experienced teams and specialist power connection know-how.

“Part of our ambition to provide full integrated electrical solutions for essential energy infrastructures all over Europe, the acquisition of Network Power Connections marks a new step in the strengthening of our electrical infrastructure activities in the UK. NPC brings recognised grid connection expertise, NERS-accredited capabilities and experienced teams able to deliver complex projects across the country. By joining TSG, its teams will strengthen our ability to provide integrated energy solutions combining power connections, electrical infrastructure, EV charging, solar and battery storage, while creating strong synergies with Skerritt Electrical and our wider UK operations.”
