A Farewell to Remember
The event concluded with a farewell party where students danced, laughed and said their goodbyes. Friendships forged during the week will undoubtedly last a lifetime, and the lessons learned will resonate far beyond the conference.
As the week came to an end, students reflected on the moments that stood out to them the most. For Isabel from Palacio de Granda (Spain), it was all about the friendships she formed:
“My most memorable experience this week so far has been getting to make so many new friends from all around the world.”
For her fellow delegate Marcos, the experience was just as transformative, but in a different way:
“Stepping into other shoes and learning how to improve my speaking skills.”
As we look back on this incredible week, we’re reminded of the power of MUN to inspire, educate, and connect young people. Through events like these, we’re not just preparing students for the future—we’re helping them shape it.
Ana Gabriela Aguilera Silva, ISP Head of International Opportunities had the following final words on the experience:
‘The academic skills that ISP MUN provides to our students start even from the research of the country because they need to really understand the demographics and what the reality is that they are experiencing in order to really represent themselves the best.
In terms of the personal aspects, we have students that grow their confidence in ways that they wouldn’t have ever done. We have seen again and again students that have been shy or that they don’t feel that their voices can be heard, really stepping up and saying I am here.’
And the MUN journey is by no means over! We’re thrilled to announce that the ISP Virtual MUN 2025 is on the horizon, with Liceo Panamericano Samborondón hosting for the Americas and Nibras International School leading the way for Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
A new cohort of student delegates will soon take the stage, ready to debate, collaborate, and shape the conversations that matter. Who’s ready for the next chapter of ISP MUN?
