The Australian, winner of ten titles and current world No. 6 in the ATP rankings, will play the tournament for the sixth consecutive year.
The Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell–Trofeo Conde de Godó is once again shaping up to be one of the strongest ATP 500 tournaments in the world, adding another top-10 player to the star-studded lineup for the 2026 edition: Alex de Miñaur. The 26-year-old Australian remains loyal to his annual appointment in Barcelona and has confirmed his sixth consecutive appearance at a tournament where he narrowly missed out on reaching the final in 2022, when he lost in three sets to Carlos Alcaraz.
The Australian player will compete in this 73rd edition alongside the already confirmed players Carlos Alcaraz and Félix Auger-Aliassime.
Alex de Miñaur is one of the most consistent players of recent years, firmly established in the top 10 and winning ten titles from 19 finals contested. Born in Australia but raised in Spain from the age of five, his game is perfectly suited to clay courts.
Tickets to attend the tournament are now on sale and can only be purchased through the official website: barcelonaopenbancsabadell.com.
