Global Recycling Day: Advancing the Circular Economy Through Collective Responsibility

On Global Recycling Day, Autoneum celebrates the vital role of recycling in building a sustainable future and advancing the circular economy. We are proud to contribute by driving circular solutions within the automotive industry. These efforts are part of our broader commitment to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) leadership, embedding sustainability throughout our products, operations, and governance practices.

Planet
In 2025, we strengthened our contribution to a circular automotive industry by launching new products designed for recyclability and lower environmental impact, such as monomaterial carpets and polyester felt sound insulation. At the same time, through eco-efficiency initiatives and collaboration with customers and suppliers, we achieved measurable reductions in waste, water withdrawal, and Scope 1, 2 and 3 greenhouse gas emissions, driven by ecoefficiency projects and supplier engagement.

People
A strong focus on safety and engagement led to clear improvements in workplace performance. Autoneum significantly reached its highest participation rate ever in the global employee engagement survey, reflecting a peoplecentric culture supported by training, leadership development, and continuous dialogue.

Governance
Responsible governance remains the foundation of Autoneum’s sustainability strategy. No confirmed incidents of corruption were reported in 2025, reinforcing our commitment to ethical business conduct and transparency. We also screened a large number of suppliers for ESG criteria through structured due diligence processes.
