The latest edition of Seatrade Cruise Global (Miami) has once again confirmed its role as one of the most important international meeting points for the cruise industry. For Alimia Shipyards Group, the event provided a valuable opportunity to boost its international visibility and highlight the benefits of working in a coordinated and unified manner as a group.
With the joint representation of ASTICAN, ASTANDER and ASTIBAL, the group’s sales teams held meetings throughout the week with clients, prospective clients and agents, exchanging views on current market trends, operational challenges and future opportunities within the cruise sector. This shared presence not only allowed for a broader commercial perspective but also highlighted the added value of collaboration between shipyards operating under a common strategic vision.
Seatrade Cruise Global also provided the institutional framework for key initiatives linked to the future of the cruise industry. In this context, Luisa Ramos, Commercial Director of ASTICAN and member of the Board of Directors of FEDEPORT, took part in the official launch of Seatrade Cruise Med 2026, alongside the President of the Port Authority of Las Palmas and other relevant institutional representatives.

The announcement of Seatrade Cruise Med 2026, to be held in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
