Biocatalysis: the evolution of searching for or developing novel enzymes

Abstract
Over the past 25 years our group has worked on the development of biocatalysts tackling microbial biodiversity for novel useful enzymes. From isolated microorganisms and genomic libraries to genome mining and rational design. The talk will cover the evolution of the area and some recent examples along with their applications.
