From 25 September to 4 October, Mogu joins Mission Acoustic MANIFESTO at Vienna Design Week, bringing mycelium- and hemp-based acoustic materials into an immersive exploration of sound, material and space.
For the 20th edition of Vienna Design Week, Mission Acoustic brings its platform into the physical space for the first time with MANIFESTO: an exhibition dedicated to contemporary acoustic design, combining materials, products, experimental applications and practical tools for architects and interior designers.
Mogu will contribute to the experience with a dedicated installation and material displays featuring PLUMA, KANA and mycelium-based solutions.
An immersive entrance with PLUMA
At the entrance to MANIFESTO, visitors will encounter a spatial installation featuring PLUMA, Mogu’s mycelium-based acoustic system.
The installation transforms the passage into a material experience, using the distinctive texture and colour of PLUMA to explore how acoustic performance can become an integral part of interior architecture.
Rather than simply displaying the material, the installation invites visitors to experience it at architectural scale — walking through a space shaped by acoustic design and bio-based material innovation.
Discovering KANA and mycelium
Inside the exhibition, two dedicated Mogu displays will offer a closer look at the materials behind our solutions.
KANA introduces a new approach to hemp-based acoustic surfaces, combining sound absorption with large formats, distinctive textures and extensive possibilities for colour, pattern and customisation.
Alongside it, Mogu’s mycelium-based materials demonstrate how biofabrication can bring new aesthetic and functional qualities to interior design.
Samples and material compositions will allow architects and designers to experience the surfaces at close range, exploring their textures, colours and potential applications.
