No one wants to miss the chance to participate as a speaker at VDS2024. This international tech event is already one of the most prominent in Southern Europe. Consequently, tech leaders from over 50 countries have submitted their applications to be speakers at the next edition of VDS.
With a month left before the application deadline, more than 400 registrations have been received, with over half of these being C-Level executives, founders, or co-founders.
The number of applications already ensures a new record for international participation among future speakers. VDS2023 saw over 500 proposals from more than 40 countries. This year, applicants hail from 50 countries, with the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Netherlands, and Portugal being the most represented. Additionally, more than half of the applications are from international candidates.
The technologies highlighted by the applying companies include artificial intelligence, software, and big data. The sectors represented span Business, Fintech/Insurtech, and Education.
VDS, the platform transforming Valencia into a global tech hub, will hold its seventh edition on October 23-24 at the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia. Startup Valencia, the organizing entity, estimates this seventh edition will host over 12,000 professionals from more than 100 countries, over 700 investors with assets under management exceeding 30 million euros, more than 600 recognized international speakers, and over 2,500 startups.
Under the theme “Embracing Evolution: Invest in the Leaders of Tomorrow,” the international tech event will analyze the positive impact of the technological revolution on society. It will feature voices from the most prominent leaders in the global innovation and technology ecosystem, highlighting the latest global trends in artificial intelligence, mobility, sustainability, health, and blockchain.
A High-Impact Call
The last edition of VDS gathered internationally renowned entrepreneurs like Miguel Santos, who sold his startup Technisys for a valuation of $1.1 billion; experts from major tech companies like Alejandro Mullor, WW Public Sector Digital Strategist, Tourism Lead at Microsoft; top-tier investors like Dagmar Van Ravenswaay from Lumo Labs; global figures like Vala Afshar, Chief Digital Evangelist at Salesforce Tower; and executives from multinational companies like Ángel Rivera, CEO of Santander Spain, and Ángel Sáenz, Country Manager for Spain and Portugal at LinkedIn, among many others. These names attest to the caliber of speakers at this international tech event.
This call is open to C-level executives, entrepreneurs, investors, and international leaders who can inspire and analyze the application of various technologies in solving the major challenges society faces today.
