Tennium player Solana Sierra made history this week by becoming the first lucky loser in the Open Era (since 1968) to reach the Round of 16 at Wimbledon in women’s singles.

After entering the main draw as a lucky loser, the 21-year-old Argentine claimed three impressive wins, including a second-round victory over No.32 seed Katie Boulter and a third-round triumph against Cristina Bucsa. Her remarkable run came to an end in the fourth round, where she was defeated by Germany’s Laura Siegemund 6-3, 6-2.

Sierra is the first Argentine woman to reach the fourth round at Wimbledon since Paola Suárez in 2004, and the first to advance to the second week of a Grand Slam since Nadia Podoroska’s 2020 Roland Garros semifinal.

We are proud to support Solana as she continues to make history and grow her promising career on the international stage.
