Satya Nadella’s Post
It was fun to spend time with the team at Swiggy today, and see how they're using Microsoft Fabric to process billions of data points in near real time, paving the way for new innovations in how convenience is delivered to millions of their users. A really great use case! https://lnkd.in/gWFG4qrn
Great to read about the India focus and capabilities in the country. Thanks for sharing!
Proud to be the implementation partner for this success story! 😀
"Orchestration Game"—that is the perfect definition. Swiggy uses Real-Time Intelligence to deliver food in 10 minutes. At AgriGenAI, we are using the same Azure stack to help farmers *grow* that food. When a pest attacks, the "Time to Advice" matters more than the advice itself. Real-time ingestion (Satellite + Drone) requires massive compute. A huge thanks to the Microsoft for Startups program. That $150k in Azure credits didn't just save us cash—it let a bootstrapped team in Chennai build a "Swiggy-scale" architecture for Indian agriculture. If we can solve logistics for Consumption, we can definitely solve it for Production.
microsoft fabric for real time analytics is a game changer. streaming pipelines at scale with near zero latency is the future
What stands out here is not the use case, but the structural signal: India is beginning to treat real-time intelligence as national infrastructure rather than enterprise tooling. When platforms at Swiggy’s scale fuse logistics, demand patterns and behavioural data into a unified compute fabric, they don’t just optimize delivery; they reshape the architecture of urban systems, supply chains and labour flows at population scale. This is the layer where digital capability becomes macro-economic leverage. A fascinating preview of how ‘convenience infrastructure’ can become part of a country’s competitiveness stack.
Impressive work. Real time data at this scale reshapes how leaders make decisions and how operators build the internal systems that support them. When a company can translate billions of signals into usable insight with this level of speed, execution becomes sharper and strategy becomes more grounded in reality. A powerful example of what disciplined data architecture can unlock.
Satya, just check my email and it will be the most important step in your life, one that will take civilization to a new stage of development.
Satya, your vision of building trusted, inclusive, and intelligent digital ecosystems continues to inspire many of us working on foundational system design. In parallel to Microsoft’s direction, I have been developing a unified trust-infrastructure model aimed at addressing four systemic gaps across identity, fairness, and digital governance. Because the concept touches on architectural elements best suited for a private channel, I’ve shared a short overview with your team via email. I would be grateful if it finds its way to you — your perspective would mean a great deal.
The Fragmental Future began on July 9, 2025. That’s the day the Fragmental Overlap Storage System (FOSS) and the Fragmental Network Protocol (FNP) officially entered the patent system — and the day global data economics quietly changed forever. We are now in the new era of symbolic storage, deterministic compression, and zero-redundancy architecture. This is the birth of the future everyone will soon stand inside. — Cecil A. Lacy Inventor of the Fragmental Overlap Storage System (FOSS) & Fragmental Network Protocol (FNP) Patent Pending 19/264,676
