Waterworks Food Hall (50 Brant Street) is pleased to announce the opening of three new culinary partners: Bello Pizza, Darna Middle Eastern Cuisine, and Union Chicken. These additions will join the hall’s carefully curated mix of acclaimed operators, including Harry’s Charbroiled, Grape Witches, Rasta Pasta, Aburi Sushi and more, further cementing the heritage landmark as one of Toronto’s most compelling and forward-thinking dining destinations.

Since opening in summer 2024, Waterworks Food Hall has remained committed to partnering with operators who deliver exceptional quality, distinct culinary perspectives, and elevated guest experiences. Each new concept is selected with intention, ensuring it complements the hall’s existing roster while contributing to Waterworks’ world-class lineup that reflects Toronto’s evolving culinary landscape.

Bello Pizza

Now open at Waterworks, Bello Pizza brings the inventive energy that transformed a backyard pandemic experiment in Bloor West Village into one of Collingwood’s most beloved restaurants. With slow fermented dough, thoughtful sourcing, and inventive takes on Italian comfort, Bello’s pizzas balance familiarity with discovery. Their seasonal specials and collaborative creativity make Bello a seamless, exciting addition to the hall’s dynamic mix.

Darna Middle Eastern Cuisine

Also open now, Darna Middle Eastern Kitchen introduces a modern, ingredient-driven approach to Middle Eastern cooking. Known for vibrant mezze, house-made sauces, and charcoal-grilled meats, Darna’s menu is crafted with the precision and warmth of home cooking, echoing what guests already love at their Roncesvalles and Leaside locations. Their bold, shareable plates and bright flavours add a fresh new layer to the hall’s offerings.

Union Chicken

Arriving in early 2026, Union Chicken will bring its iconic buttermilk fried chicken to Waterworks. Centered on premium, ethically sourced poultry, Union Chicken will serve elevated takes on nostalgic comfort food, including fan favourites such as the crispy O.G. Fried Chicken Sandwich, Triple-Cooked Fries and Chicken & Waffles that have made it one of Toronto’s go-to destinations for refined Southern-inspired cooking.
