The celebration of new builds often overlooks a critical operational reality: the compounding complexity of the modern software stack. Every new capability deployed is a new potential point of failure if the underlying governance architecture is not prepared to absorb it. In enterprise revenue operations and large-scale ERP integrations, I consistently observe that the most successful organizations are not those with the most tools, but those with the highest decision-making agency. When developers focus solely on the build without a clear framework for system accountability, they are not creating innovation; they are creating technical debt that will eventually paralyze the commercial strategy. Does your current architecture prioritize the speed of the build or the resilience of the decision when the system scales beyond human oversight?
So… go to build and be disappointed again? I’ve already moved on to Steam and Mac. MS has proven to hate daily users and gamers. End of XBox is coming. End of Surface is coming. Etc. Rather than killing everything, why didn’t MS break these things out to their own companies, then let them know to thrive or die is in their hands rather than the invisible hands of MS execs. I mean the Xbox leadership has no known history of the gaming industry. Every update on my Win 11 Pro and Win 11 Ent box slows them down and shortens the battery life. Trust factor of MS = 0/10.
Satya Nadella there's a lot riding on it for Microsoft's future. Windows 11 has completely removed a lot of control from the user and you've made arbitrary decisions. You've taken control away from the end user and administrator and that is unacceptable. In Windows 12 you better return all the control back to the end user and administrator. Not everyone wants to use your AI stuff. Otherwise, you're going to have a massive amount of people move away from your operating system somewhere else. But I've heard the will follow him. Maybe released: 🚀 Windows 12 ( "Agentic OS"): Rumors point to a June launch in San Francisco. We’re moving beyond chat; OS will likely empower AI agents to execute tasks across apps autonomously (e.g., managing files/data without manual input). 🛡️ Windows Resiliency: Expect a major shift in security architecture. Microsoft is moving third-party security tools out of the kernel to prevent system-wide crashes (no more BSOD outages!). 💼 M365 E7 Tier: A potential new subscription for "Agent 365" to help enterprises manage and govern their "digital workers" alongside human employees. 🛠️ Azure AI Foundry: New tools for developers to build multi-agent "swarms" that collaborate on complex workflows.

Few Tips for a successful BUILD.. Think about it Satya Nadella AZURE: make Azure the easiest place to deploy AI at scale, undercutting AWS and Google on price and developer experience. Own the enterprise relationship — most companies already trust Microsoft. Convert that trust into AI transformation contracts before competitors get in the door. GOLD: Xbox + Activision + Surface gives them a consumer AI wedge that Google and Amazon lack. Satya Nadella needs to go all-in publicly like be the AI CEO the way Jensen Huang is the AI hardware CEO.
