Marinella Senatore, Chengdu Biennal | Mazzoleni Art

Mazzoleni is pleased to announce the inclusion of Dance First Think Later (2022) by Italian artist Marinella Senatore in the collection of the Chengdu Art Museum, on the occasion of the “Pulse of Life · Chengdu Biennale”.

The work, a large-scale light sculpture composed of LED bulbs and flex LED on a wooden structure, measuring 900 cm in diameter , is presented within the biennale, which runs from February 8, 2026 until August. Senatore’s piece echoes the event’s focus on urban vitality and the energy of everyday life, reflecting the artist’s ongoing exploration of community, participation and collective empowerment.
