The 2026 cohort includes 87 participants from six continents, joining a legacy that, since 1959, has welcomed more than 5,000 changemakers from over 140 countries, all committed to generating meaningful and lasting impact in their communities and beyond.
Over nearly seventy years, the Bellagio Center has hosted some of the most influential voices of our time — including economists Amartya Sen and Milton Friedman, U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, South African jurist Dikgang Moseneke, former U.S. Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, author Maya Angelou, and former President of Ireland Mary Robinson — fostering dialogue, collaboration, and the development of transformative ideas.
