The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Japan (ICCJ), together with Lingua Viva Italian Language School — itself an ICCJ member — is pleased to offer an Italian course based on the teaching method used at the school. This beginner-level course strikes a balance between grammar and conversation, helping you build expressions you can put to use in everyday situations and while travelling. It’s a great fit for anyone who wants to improve while having fun, speak more confidently in Italian, expand their vocabulary, and sharpen their listening and speaking skills.
Please note: the course will be held at ICCJ’s new office (3-4-16 Minami-Aoyama, Minato-ku, Tokyo 107-0062).

Beginner Italian D-1 | July–October 2026 — Course Overview
Schedule: Thursdays, 18:30–20:00 (90 min per lesson, 10 lessons)
July 16 & 23; September 3, 10 & 17; October 1, 8, 15, 22 & 29

Level: Beginner (for those who have studied the passato prossimo, imperfetto, future tense, object and personal pronouns, conditional, etc.)
Recommended study experience: approx. 180 hours
Content:
– Grammar: relative pronouns, the use of “ci” and “ne”, passato remoto, and more
– Conversation: everyday life, travel and hobbies, asking questions, expressing opinions, polite forms, and more
