Mazzoleni is delighted to share Iran do Espírito Santo’s solo exhibition, IRAN DO ESPÍRITO SANTO: RECURRENCE, on view at Instituto Figueiredo Ferraz in Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo, from 2 July to 26 September 2026. Curated by Fernanda Lopes, the exhibition brings together approximately thirty works created between 2008 and 2025, including drawings, watercolours, sculptures, objects and installations, offering an overview of the artist’s practice over the past two decades.
The exhibition establishes a dialogue with Recurrency, a work from the Dulce and João Carlos de Figueiredo Ferraz Collection, evoking the idea of recurrence as something that returns, persists or reemerges in new forms. Through a precise and refined visual language, Iran do Espírito Santo’s practice explores the relationship between the concrete and the abstract, inviting viewers to reconsider the poetic complexity of familiar objects and forms.
