Spectacular weekend with a wonderful one-two by Francesco Bagnaia who wins both the Sprint Race and the Sunday race.
Pecco raced in the race with his Suomy S1-XR GP with special graphics, a tribute to the legendary musical band Kiss.

SPRINT RACE
Francesco Bagnaia, Suomy Rider, dominated the sprint race of the Brembo Italian Grand Prix, leading from the start until the checkered flag. Pecco, who started from the second spot on the grid, immediately took the lead, managing to create a small margin over his pursuers in the second part of the race: he achieved another victory.

RACE
Our Suomy S1-XR GP with spectacular graphics dedicated to the band Kiss and the Desmosedici GP with the special color dedicated to the Italian national team brought luck to Pecco who took a magnificent victory in Sunday’s race of the Italian Grand Prix. Pecco started from fifth place on the grid but two corners were enough for him to gain the lead. Pecco managed the race in the best possible way and with his S1-XR GP set the lap record in the race, passing the checkered flag with an eight-tenths advantage over his teammate. Bagnaia wins the third consecutive victory in the Sunday race at Mugello.

“I’m very happy because after the Barcelona race, in which we missed out on the win at the last lap, we managed to do it here and, above all, we made it to the finish line. I felt really good with the bike from the get-go, and I tried to be as consistent as possible, but it wasn’t easy as there was an unexpected grip drop at the front-end. Let’s see what we’ll be able to do for tomorrow: it’s going to be a very different race also because we’ll be starting from row two: still, we have the potential to do well.”

“It was an incredible race. It wasn’t easy as I was fifth on the grid, but the strategy of going for the outside line worked out perfectly, also due to Maverick (Viñales) running a little wide. I started dictating the pace from the get-go, but it was hard to manage the rear-end of the bike as the bike was moving a lot at the front, meaning I could only be effective for a couple of laps each time. In the end we were able to get the win in what was a fantastic weekend, with an incredible atmosphere coming from the crowd I love. To witness the sea of people below the podium was crazy. I’m also happy for Enea and for the great race he had. Thank you Mugello, you all were fantastic.”
