Facing the complex phenomena and realities that characterize societies at present, we sometimes witness manifestations of indifference, cynicism, and disenchantment, alongside tendencies to interpret, probe and understand these phenomena, striving to try to stem their effects or modify events. Again, there seems to be a return of attention to more contemplative attitudes and dimensions, which allow to reflect on the different, possible ways of moving and inhabiting the world. The seminar will attempt to highlight how these dimensions have been thematised in the ethical-philosophical debate, retracing the reflections of some authors and their reading of the attitudes to wonder, amazement and imagination, as they are declined within digitised societies.
Speaker: LUCIA GALVAGNI, FBK-ISR
