The Demo Day of the Cybersecurity Startup Program presented the most cutting-edge solutions in cybersecurity developed by the startups participating in the program, with AI taking center stage. This event, held at La Harinera, marked the culmination of the program promoted by INCIBE and Startup Valencia, in collaboration with Valencia Innovation Capital from the Valencia City Council and Innsomnia.
The 15 startups that were incubated or accelerated over the past three months as part of the program had the opportunity to pitch their projects in a 5-minute format to investors and potential clients.
DataOrigin, Revel, and Sagenso were named finalists in the Incubation category, while Vesta-Z, Umibots, and World Challenge Game were finalists in the Acceleration category. The two winners, DataOrigin and Vesta-Z, shared a prize of 10,000 euros, and the finalists also enjoyed other awards such as a spot in the Pitch Stage at VDS, which will hold its seventh edition on October 23 and 24 at the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia, or the chance to participate in events organized by INCIBE.
The judging panel responsible for selecting the winners included Mª del Pilar de Cos González-Taladriz, Cybersecurity Industry, Entrepreneurship, and Internationalization Specialist at INCIBE; Lucía Calabria, Deputy Director of Entrepreneurship at Las Naves / Valencia Innovation Capital; Alberto Andújar, Director of BIGBAN Private Investors; Sarah Soler, Sales & Customer Success Manager at the same company; and Nacho Mas and Karina Virrueta, CEO and Head of Innovation Ecosystem at Startup Valencia, respectively.
