🚀 COMET INTERCEPTOR: ANOTHER CHALLANGING MILESTONE ACHIEVED - OHB-Italia

Last week, at OHB Italia S.p.A. premises in Milan, were successfully conducted tests on Probe B1 (developed by JAXA and ArkEdge) of #CometInterceptor mission, using the Avionic Test Bench (#ATB). These critical tests checked the functionality and interface integration between the onboard computer of Spacecraft A and the probe, provided by ESA in collaboration with the Japanese partners.

🔹 Why does this matter?
This achievement marks a major #milestone in the Comet Interceptor program, proving the robustness of our approach and our ability to manage complex technical and organizational challenges with international partners and space agencies. It’s a strong validation of the quality and reliability of our work so far.

🔹 What’s next?
We are now preparing for the Satellite Critical Design Review (hashtag#CDR), a pivotal step from preliminary and conceptual design to the production and integration phase. This marks the “go-ahead” for building and implementing one of the key components of Comet Interceptor.
