È partito il progetto CMV4clima con la Comunità Montana di Valchiavenna
È stato presentato ufficialmente venerdì 13 dicembre il progetto CMV4clima (Context specific climate risk assessment and adaptation strategies for the Valchiavenna Alpine territory), sostenuto dal programma di finanziamento europeo CLIMAAX 2024 (CLIMAte risk and vulnerability Assessment framework and toolboX), a sua volta parte di Horizon Europe, il programma quadro dell’Unione europea per la ricerca e l’innovazione per il periodo 2021-2027.
Il progetto CMV4Clima ha come obiettivo principale quello di fornire una comprensione dettagliata delle minacce climatiche attuali e future della Valchiavenna come, ad esempio, il dissesto idrogeologico e gli eventi meteorologici estremi al fine di aumentare la resilienza e ridurre la vulnerabilità ai cambiamenti climatici.
Fondazione Lombardia per l’Ambiente supporterà il beneficiario, Comunità Montana di Valchiavenna, nel predisporre la valutazione del rischio climatico e le strategie di adattamento per quella porzione di territorio, così strategico, per la sua vulnerabilità, nello studio dei cambiamenti climatici.
CMV4clima è stato presentato nell’ambito di un kick-off meeting che si è svolto alla Biblioteca di Chiavenna (Sondrio), al quale è intervenuto Marco Pregnolato per conto di Fondazione Lombardia per l’Ambiente.
