As part of the Vatican Jubilee celebrations, Marinella Senatore presents the project ‘Io Contengo Moltitudini’ (I Contain Multitudes), a striking 6-meter-tall light installation created in collaboration with the Rebibbia Prison community.

The work will be unveiled by Pope Francis on 26 December, coinciding with the opening of the Holy Door of the “Padre Nostro” Church, Rebibbia Prison, a ceremony chosen by the Pope as part of the beginning of the Jubilee celebrations.

As a continuation of the project, Marinella Senatore has also designed this year’s official Christmas card for the Holy See’s Dicastery for Culture and Education.

Marinella Senatore says: “I was honored to be invited to design this year’s Christmas card by the Dicastery for Culture and Education of the Vatican. This invitation came as a continuation of my engagement with the community of Rebibbia through the project ‘Io Contengo Moltitudini. The design for the Christmas card, carries forward this theme of unity and collective growth. It embodies the spirit of mutual support and shared responsibility that are central to fostering community, resonating deeply with the values upheld by the Vatican during this Jubilee. The artwork encapsulates the spirit of unity and renewal, celebrating the season’s message of togetherness.”
