PcVue 15 onwards

Prerequisites for migrating a PcVue project containing LON communication.

Prerequisites to take into account:

• – Plan for updating the LON license (LON server + Commissioning Tool). It is mandatory to use the same LON software suite (Server + CT*) as before the update.
•  – Operating System Compatibility: Check the compatibility with the operating systems supported by PcVue and the LON server (refer to article KB1106).
• – Use a version of Izot Net Server that is compatible with PcVue (refer to article KB1106).
• – Migrate the LON database using LON-specific software.
• – After the migration, perform tests on PcVue. Consider reading other KB articles for optimization (see article KB781).
• – Check if the activeX “Stibill” is used, if it is used you need to install this activeX on the new machine and test it
