The ‘Visioni Notturne‘ exhibition presents the projects ‘Cartoonia‘ by Salvatore Palazzo, visual artist, and ‘Venezia di notte‘ by Luca Casonato, photographer.
In “Cartoonia” the vision of reality becomes a dream, a thought that becomes matter and gives free form to the imagination. “Cartoonia” wants to be a hymn to simplicity through the figures that occupy the entire surface and the altered colours.
“Venice by Night” investigates the appearance and atmosphere of the lagoon city at night. Luca Casonato’s photographs, although devoid of visible people, render an inhabited Venice with a metaphysical flavour.
The nocturnal light, the altered colours, the focus on the city and the metaphysical atmospheres are the elements the two artists’ works have in common.
Nella mostra bipersonale “Visioni Notturne” sono presentati i progetti “Cartoonia” di Salvatore Palazzo, artista visivo, e “Venezia di notte” di Luca Casonato, fotografo.
In “Cartoonia” la visione della realtà diventa sogno, pensiero che si fa materia e dà libera forma alla fantasia. “Cartoonia” vuole essere un inno alla semplicità attraverso le figure che occupano tutta la superficie e i colori alterati.
“Venezia di notte” indaga l’aspetto e le atmosfere della città lagunare durante le ore notturne. Le fotografie di Luca Casonato pur prive di persone visibili, restituiscono una Venezia abitata e dal sapore metafisico.
La luce notturna, i colori alterati, l’attenzione alla città e le atmosfere metafisiche sono gli elementi che accomunano le opere dei due artisti.
