AWWG announces its incorporation into ARTE, the Spanish Retail Textile Association, which represents the main textile brands in Spain and defends the common interests of the textile trade sector before public and private institutions in Spain.
Fashion group joins ARTE to share its vision of the sector, to make an active contribution, and to address together with the other brands in the association the challenges and new opportunities arising in the Spanish textile trade.
The association has grown continuously since its creation at the beginning of 2023, with the aim of representing the interests of the textile trade sector and actively promoting dialogue and alliances with the most representative administrations and entities in the sector, both public and private.
The association also promotes freedom of enterprise and freedom of establishment, as well as freedom of trade and business hours, market unity, and commitments to social and environmental sustainability.
Carlos del Río, Vice President of Human Resources at AWWG and member of the ARTE Board of Directors, confirmed how important it is for the Group to join the association. “Being part of ARTE is a great opportunity for us to work together with other brands in promoting sector-wide initiatives that focus on the economic, socio-labor, and regulatory aspects of the textile trade industry in Spain”.
