From Telecoming, we have had one more year the opportunity to attend the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, hand in hand with Red.es, as one of the 45 technological companies that take part in the Spanish Pavilion.
During the four days that took place in the congress, the technological future has not only been visualized but also felt through immersive experiences and enriching debates. During our days in Barcelona, we have had the opportunity to participate in different events, mainly organized by the Red.es organization, within the framework of the Spanish Pavilion. In addition, on the previous Sunday, the 25th, to MWC 2024, we were able to participate in an exciting event from the Mobile Ecosystem Forum.
In addition, we have also had the opportunity to be present at Telemedia, Adjust, Smadex or VR Immersive, among the number of significant events that have transformed the city of Barcelona during these days, to generate ties and business opportunities in the digital ecosystem.
Unprecedented global reach and diversity
The MWC 2024 witnessed an overwhelming attendance of more than 100,000 visitors, marking a significant milestone in the history of the congress after the pandemic period.
More than 2,700 exhibitors showcased their latest innovations throughout the event, covering a diverse range of technologies and solutions. From large conglomerates to small startups, each exhibitor brought their unique vision for the technological future, making the MWC 2024 an amalgamation of revolutionary ideas and products.
The Mobile World Congress has served as a showcase for the latest technology trends and a reflection of the global landscape, with participants coming from nearly 200 countries. This international diversity has enriched the discussions and fostered collaboration and cross-cultural understanding.
Innovation and leadership on the world stage
The Institutional representation at the MWC 2024 has also been remarkable, with two heads of the estate, the King of Spain and the President of the Spanish Government. This high level of government participation underscores the growing intersection between technology and public policy and the importance of the Mobile World Congress as a platform for global discussions on the future of technology and its regulation.
The event also celebrated the 10th anniversary of the benchmark startup event 4YFN (4 Years From Now), which marked a decade of highlighting the innovation and entrepreneurship scene within the high-tech and mobile sector. This special anniversary not only commemorates the growth and success of the 4YFN format but also reaffirms its critical role in connecting startups with investors, companies and mentors.
