Algeciras Football Club, in collaboration with Yes Energy, is proud to announce the creation of a pioneering Energy Community in the Campo de Gibraltar. This project aims to offer the club’s fans and the citizens of the region a sustainable and economical way to consume energy, while supporting the team. Benefits for fans and citizens:
Participants in the energy community will be able to access electricity at an advantageous price, generated locally and in a sustainable manner. In addition, by joining this project, they will get a series of monthly benefits and experiences together with Algeciras C.F., such as participation in raffles for box tickets, t-shirts signed by the players, participation in matches between fans at the Nuevo Mirador Stadium at the end of the season…. and much more. Benefits for companies:
Companies wishing to participate by offering their roofs for the installation of solar panels will obtain a photovoltaic plant on their property at no cost. During the first 20 years, these companies will be able to self-consume energy from the plant at a reduced price, contributing to the energy community. After this period, the installation will be fully owned by them, at no additional cost. This project is part of Algeciras CF and Yes Energy’s commitment to the environment and sustainability. By generating and consuming renewable energy, the energy community contributes to the reduction of CO2 emissions and promotes a cleaner and more responsible model for the Campo de Gibraltar.
