The eighth edition of VDS now has a confirmed date and will take place on October 22-23, 2025, at the iconic City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia. Organized by Startup Valencia, this international tech event has established itself since 2018 as a key platform for the global innovation ecosystem. Under the theme ‘Collaborate Today. Transform Tomorrow,’ VDS 2025 is set to bring together over 12,000 professionals from 120 countries, more than 3,000 startups, 1,500+ corporations, and 800 investors managing assets exceeding €300 billion over the course of two days.

VDS 2025 aims to inspire the world through the concept of ‘Symbiosis’, exploring how collaboration and connection between entrepreneurs, technology, and innovation can drive transformative impact for the future. This theme draws inspiration from the unprecedented solidarity demonstrated in the aftermath of the devastating floods that struck Valencia in October 2024. The coordinated response from individuals, institutions, and companies showcased how collaboration accelerates recovery in affected areas. In this context, VDS 2025 will introduce the ‘Tech for Resilience Program’, an initiative by Startup Valencia designed to drive technological solutions that help prevent and mitigate the impact of natural disasters—a testament to how technology and innovation can make a real difference when it is needed most.

Moreover, VDS 2025 will delve into the latest trends and breakthroughs in deep tech and emerging technologies that are reshaping the way we interact with the world. From artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cybersecurity to virtual and augmented reality, quantum computing, nanotechnology, and photonics, the event will offer a comprehensive look at the cutting-edge innovations shaping the future. It will also address critical challenges such as sustainability, the future of cities, consumer technology, talent, and healthcare, highlighting the profound impact of technology on society and the world we are building.

VDS 2025 will emphasize the need for active participation in digital transformation. As Juan Luis Hortelano, President of Startup Valencia, states: “Innovation is not an individual effort, but a shared mission where every voice and action matter.” With this vision, the international tech event invites entrepreneurs, startups, corporations, investors, and key players in the global tech ecosystem to come together and build a more connected and sustainable future.
