Once again this year, young researchers from the Euregio Tyrol-South Tyrol-Trentino are invited to present their research work at the fourteenth Euregio project. This year's central topic is ‘Artificial Intelligence in the Euregio’ discussed from a wide range of perspectives. Submission deadline 6 April 2025
At the Euregio-Days 2025, which this year will be dedicated to the topic of competitiveness, young researchers under the age of 35 (born after 15/08/1990) will have the opportunity to present their research projects in front of a high-level jury and to discuss the topic directly with renowned scientists and political leaders.
Once again this year, young researchers under the age of 35 from the entire Euregio can address the central theme of Tiroltag 2025, competitiveness. The six finalists will be able to present their research approaches on the topic of competitiveness in Alpbach. At the award ceremony, which will take place on the evening of 16 August 2025, the three prizes sponsored by the Chambers of Commerce of the three Euregio territories will be presented.

- Step 1: Submission of an in-depth summary in English of a paper (max. 15,000 characters including spaces or max. 8 pages with any graphics) and an updated CV by 6 April 2025.
- Stage 2: The jury, composed of experts in the field, will evaluate the applications until 23 May 2025; six young researchers will then be invited to Stage 3.
- Phase 3: Presentation and discussion of the scientific project within the framework of the Young Researchers in Euregio-Days at the European Forum in Alpbach on Saturday 16 August 2025, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. approx. The finalists will be reimbursed for their travel and stay in Alpbach (2 nights).
- Award ceremony: Awarding of the winner at the prize-giving ceremony, which will take place in the afternoon of Saturday 16 August 2025. All participants are also cordially invited to the Tyrolean Day, which will take place on Sunday 17 August 2025.
Evaluation
Stage 3 theses will be assessed by the jury, taking into account the written abstract (50%, including a compensation bonus of 2.5 points for PhD students or 2.5 points compensation bonus for post-docs with more than 3 years of thesis) and the presentation and discussion at the Young Researchers Working Group (50%).
