ästhetik skincare and founder Alexis Pfropper have been named gold and bronze winners of a Stevie® Award in the sustainable business model and best young female entrepreneur categories in the 21st annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business.
The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honor the achievements of women executives, entrepreneurs, employees, and the companies they run– worldwide. The Stevie Award has been hailed as the world’s premier business award.
Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word for “crowned,” the awards were presented to winners during a gala event attended by nominees and their guests at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. The event was broadcast via Vimeo.
More than 1,500 entries from organizations and individuals in 36 nations and territories were submitted this year for consideration in more than 100 categories, including Executive of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Company of the Year, Startup of the Year, Women Helping Women, and Women Run Workplace of the Year. ästhetik skincare won gold in the sustainable business model category, and Pfropper received a bronze award in the young female entrepreneur category.

ästhetik skincare’s gold award for sustainable business model recognizes the company’s packaging and product innovation achievements. All the brand’s skincare solutions are made with organic, kosher, biodegradable, fair trade and natural ingredients. Since 2023, the company uses recyclable PLA plastic for all of its product packaging. This renewable plastic is made from sugarcane or casava, making it more sustainable than petroleum-based products. Bottle caps are made from real bamboo, which decomposes naturally or can be composted.
Pfropper received bronze in the young female entrepreneur category, recognizing her entrepreneurial achievements as a woman under 30. When she launched her business in 2020, Pfropper quickly had to pivot her business model due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the challenges, she has built a dedicated following in her South Florida community and continues to scale her business nationally.
Gold, Silver, and Bronze Stevie Award winners were determined by the average scores of more than 200 business professionals around the world, working on seven juries.
