Several Ontario families with young children will be attending the Ontario Legislature on Wednesday November 20th to launch a new group, Parents for Child Care, and join the rally to start Ten Day of Action for $10aDay Child Care.

Parents with firsthand experiences of transformative fee reductions, the stress of waitlists and child care deserts, and the lifesaving importance of quality child care, will share their personal stories during a morning press conference. Families will attend Question Period to bring their calls to decision makers for $10aDay child care to be strengthened and expanded in Ontario.

Families will then join Early Childhood Educators at their rally for $10aDay and Decent Pay on the south lawn of Queen’s Park. These events are being supported by the Ontario Coalition for Better Child Care as part of the Child Care Now’s Ten Days of Action for $10aDay Child Care.
