The SEAFUTURE AWARD returns for its 5th edition.
The 2025 call for applications is now open and will run until 31 May 2025.
The award, launched as part of the SEAFUTURE 2025 event, is open to graduates, PhD students, and postgraduates from the Italian and International academic world, both civil and military, who have developed theses related to the development of processes and products in the field of marine technologies. Theses will be eligible for selection if they have received a mark between 100 and 110/110 (referring to the Italian Marking System).
Candidates have to submit their three-year, master’s or doctoral theses in the field of marine technologies, which are possibly employable in different sectors (Dual Use), and/or which refer to one or more of the following fields inherent to the Blue Economy: Marine Technologies and Innovation, Sustainability, Maritime Transports and Infrastructures.
Seven finalists will have the opportunity to participate in SEAFUTURE 2025 and, among them, three selected theses will be the winners of SEAFUTURE AWARDS 2025.
SEAFUTURE, now in its 9th edition, is an international exhibition showcasing innovative technologies in maritime, defense, and dual-use sectors.
