OHB Italia S.p.A. is looking for a passionate and skilled On-Board Software Embedded Engineer to join our Satellite and Missions Department in Milano or Torino.
Are you ready to develop mission-critical software that flies in space?
In this role, you will:
🔹 Design and develop software for satellite on-board computers
🔹 Define test plans and verification procedures
🔹 Support integration and validation activities
🔹 Take part in technical reviews with customers
We’re looking for professionals with:
✅ A Master’s degree in Informatics or Electronic Engineering
✅ At least 3 years of experience in embedded software engineering
✅ Excellent knowledge of C programming, software validation and system integration
✅ Familiarity with space standards (ECSS), protocols (CANBus, SpaceWire, CCSDS), and chipsets (LEON, PowerPC, ARM, RISC-V)
✅ Fluent English and strong team spirit
Knowledge of tools like DOORS, IBM Rhapsody, VectorCAST or LDRA is a plus.
