Il RØDE NTG2 è un microfono a condensatore a fucile (shotgun) di costruzione leggera, progettato appositamente per l’utilizzo in applicazioni professionali cinematografiche, televisive e di produzione audio. La sua estesa risposta in frequenza, il rumore di fondo basso e la trasparenza del suono lo rendono ideale come microfono per cinema, video, narrazione, mentre per il suo peso ridotto (161g senza batteria) è l’ideale come microfono da asta telescopica. Esibisce una risposta in frequenza originale da 20Hz~20kHz, ma dispone di un filtro passa alto a 80Hz che permette di non registrare i rumori a bassa frequenza come quelli di condizionatori o traffico. L’NTG2 funziona sia con una batteria AA (1,5V) che con alimentazione phantom P48 che può essere fornita da videocamere professionali, registratori audio e alimentatori dedicati. L’alimentazione a batteria rende l’NTG2 la scelta ideale in quelle situazioni in cui la camera non fornisca l’alimentazione phantom come le video camere DSLR. The RØDE NTG2 is a lightweight shotgun condenser microphone, specifically designed for use in professional film, television, and audio production applications. Its extended frequency response, low noise, and clarity make it ideal for film, video, and narration, while its low weight (161g without battery) makes it ideal for use on a boom stand. It features a native frequency response of 20Hz-20kHz, but features an 80Hz high-pass filter that prevents low-frequency noise such as air conditioning or traffic from being recorded. The NTG2 operates on either a single AA battery (1.5V) or P48 phantom power, which can be supplied by professional video cameras, audio recorders, and dedicated power supplies. Battery power makes the NTG2 the ideal choice for situations where the camera doesn’t provide phantom power, such as DSLR cameras. To reduce wind noise or plosives during recording, a WSVM windscreen is included. For outdoor recording, the ‘DeadCat’ windscreen is recommended.
