UBE Composites Europe (former Repol), a company with over 50 years of experience in recycling, began its journey in 1975 by reusing polyamide textile waste, fishing nets, among others. Since then, it has remained committed to circular economy. Today, it produces engineering plastics with certified recycled content, reducing the carbon footprint of the product and reducing virgin raw material consumption. This certification, granted by AENOR under the UNE-EN15343 standard, guarantees the percentage of recycled material in its products, from raw material to the final product.

The UBE Composites Europe engineering plastics can be used in a wide range of sectors like automotive, electrical industries, culture, construction and industrial applications, for example. We have developed recycled thermoplastics for applications like underbody panels, cable ties, and other technical solutions requiring high strength and reliability. UBE Composites Europe has developed and markets materials like PA6 Dinalon and PA66 Dinalon, PP Dinaplen, PC Dinaxan, which have a high recycled content, both pre-consumer and post-consumer.

UBE Composites Europe’s commitment to reducing its carbon footprint is a key part of its strategy. The company has reduced CO2 emissions by incorporating recycled material into its production processes, contributing to the sustainability of its products’ life cycle. UBE Composites Europe’s focus on the reuse of materials comes not only from its own production waste but also from certified recycled materials sourced from external suppliers, reinforcing its vision of a circular economy.
