CUPE members at Ontario Health atHome have won a reprieve from Doug Ford’s short-sighted return to office policy. The management from Ontario Health atHome issued an internal memo to staff this afternoon notifying them that the Return to Office plan for the organization was being put on hold until further notice while the employer reviews their footprint for workspaces for both Ontario Health athome, and Ontario Health employees.

“This is a small victory for CUPE members who have been pushing back against the government’s return to office policy since it was announced in September,” said Brett Geneau, Member Organizer for CUPE’s Ontario Health atHome Campaign. “Workers need to have a voice at the table, so we are going to keep up the pressure.”
