Jill Williams has spent her life telling stories—first in music and theatre, now on canvas and paper. She wrote the Broadway musical Rainbow Jones, performed 11 original songs on her RCA album Jill Williams, and once even took the plunge from the Acapulco cliffs. That same sense of commitment and presence now guides her visual work.
Jill paints pets and animals of every kind, from household companions to exotics, working directly with U.S. clients. Her portraits are grounded in close observation: the set of the ears, the light in the eyes, the textures that make each animal unmistakable. She favors clear compositions and a natural palette, building likeness through layers while keeping the focus on character rather than display.
When she isn’t at the easel, you’ll often find her on the balcony feeding a “client”—a reminder that her practice begins with care and simple daily attention. Jill currently accepts private and corporate commissions within the United States only.
