Valencia has established itself this weekend as the global epicenter of young entrepreneurship and technological innovation with the celebration of the Sigma Squared Summit 2025. The event, held on October 24 and 25 at the Palau de la Música, brought together more than 400 founders, investors, and international experts from the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

This is the second time that Sigma Squared Society, the organizing entity dedicated to identifying, supporting, and connecting young entrepreneurs around the world, has chosen the city to host its international summit. Thanks to ongoing collaboration with the City Council of Valencia, through Valencia Innovation Capital, and with Startup Valencia, young leaders from more than 25 countries shared ideas, experiences, and high-impact projects over two intensive days, in a program that included talks, panel discussions, co-working sessions, visits to accelerators, and networking events.

Among the speakers who participated in Sigma Squared Summit 2025 were Corinna Hoyer, CEO of WORLD.MINDS; Mike Butcher, founder of Pathfounders; George Robson, Partner at Sequoia Capital; Christian Dorffer, Managing Partner at Florent Venture Partners; Mads Rydahl, former Head of Product at Siri.com; Lars Rasmussen, Co-founder of Google Maps; Fred Destin, founder of Stride VC; Tim Schumacher, General Partner at World Fund; Sebastian Pollok, Founding Partner of Visionaries Club; Robin Wauters, founder of Profoundo; Vinay Chaudhri, Head of Special Projects at BACKED VC; Sebastian Becker, General Partner at Redalpine; and Rupda Ji, Executive Coach at Rupda.com.

Throughout the summit, projects were presented in areas such as green technology, artificial intelligence, digital health, and social entrepreneurship, as well as collaborative initiatives between local and international startups.

As Nacho Mas, CEO and Executive VP of Startup Valencia, stated, “the choice of Valencia as the venue for Sigma Squared Summit for the second consecutive year highlights the city’s positioning as a global tech hub.” He added, “the attraction of international talent, global connections, and Valencia’s visibility as a leading innovation hub is the path we must continue to strengthen to maintain our prominent role within the European tech ecosystem.”

“The celebration of the Sigma Squared Summit in Valencia creates new opportunities for business and investment, and reinforces our city’s role as an innovative and technological benchmark in the Mediterranean,” said Paula Llobet, Councillor for Tourism, Innovation and Investment Attraction at the City Council of Valencia.
