On November 10th, Técnicas Reunidas reaffirms its commitment to another of its core objectives: putting science at the service of development and peace. Science is not simply technological innovation; it is also collaboration, ethics, and social responsibility in addressing major global challenges.
From our José Lladó Technology Center — the R&D&I division of Técnicas Reunidas — we promote a development approach that combines advanced research, applied technology, and multi-sector collaboration. The professionals at this center work in diverse disciplines: engineering, chemistry, physics, and laboratory technicians, all prepared to tackle scientific challenges from multiple perspectives.
Thanks to its infrastructure — laboratories, pilot plants, prototype workshops, computer simulation and more — the Technology Center is a real innovation platform.
How we connect science, peace, and development
For Técnicas Reunidas, innovation is not only an objective and a core value of our organizational culture, but also a purpose through which we reduce inequalities, preserve natural resources, and promote social well-being. Through international collaboration with partners and academic institutions, we strengthen knowledge exchange and foster solutions that transcend borders. Our projects are guided by a firm commitment to sustainability, ensuring that progress goes hand in hand with respect for the environment and human values.
