Gus and I met in Pamplona, at university. Although we were studying different degrees, we quickly found we had many friends in common. In our third year, after spending a lot of time together, he called me and said he wanted to meet up—and here we are today! What started as a simple dinner in Madrid, meant to celebrate a reunion after several weeks apart, ended with wedding bells and a ring in hand. It all felt completely natural, just like us. We had talked about getting married beforehand, and our families already knew it was coming. It wasn’t a surprise, but it was incredibly emotional.

Inés shares that she and Gustavo tied the knot on October 5, 2024, in Pamplona, celebrating at Villa Marcilla, her family’s estate. For the wedding preparations, she wore a Marmotta robe, a thoughtful gift from Marta O’Connor.

Her makeup was done by Bobbi Brown, and her hair was styled by Marian Resano, whom they always trust for the most special events. Inés also wore a family tiara from her aunt Coco: “I was especially thrilled to wear it because of how close I am to her—she’s like a second mother to me.”

Inés had her wedding dress made by Navascués. They nailed the style that suited her from the very first fitting, and she didn’t hesitate. “They are flexible, charming, and endlessly patient. Not to mention true artists and professionals, of course.”

She completed her look with earrings and a ring by Javier Gómez Zuloaga, and, of course, shoes by Flor de Asoka.

Gustavo wore a morning coat by Bonvivant. The flowers were arranged by his aunt María. Inés was especially excited to include tuberoses, her grandmother’s favorite flower.

They were married at the Ermita de la Virgen del Soto, chosen both for its proximity to their home and for the special affection they have for the Virgin. “We’ve celebrated our First Communions and various family weddings here. It’s a very familiar and meaningful place for us.” They remember the ceremony with particular fondness—having their family so close to the altar and feeling the love of friends and relatives praying for them from just behind.
