We’re proud to share a new milestone in the evolution of Easyrain and our AIS active safety system. Through the support of the PR FESR Piemonte 2021–2027 Swich Call — co-funded by the European Union, the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, Regione Piemonte, and OpenCoesione Italy — we’re accelerating the journey that turns breakthrough safety research into technology ready for the real world.

This recognition isn’t just institutional support — it’s a catalyst. It fuels our mission to strengthen an innovation-first automotive ecosystem and to push road safety into a new era of intelligent, scalable solutions. The Swich Call directly empowers our ongoing development and industrialization work, bringing AIS ever closer to widespread adoption across tomorrow’s vehicles.

AIS was born to tackle one of the most overlooked threats on the road: aquaplaning. By sensing grip loss earlier and stabilizing vehicles on water-covered surfaces, AIS becomes a foundational layer for the next generation of safe mobility. Around it, the Easyrain ecosystem — combining the DAI virtual sensing platform and the ERC cloud infrastructure — forms a modular, connected foundation built for autonomous and software-defined vehicles.

As mobility shifts toward systems that think, react, and anticipate, Easyrain stays focused on transforming bold ideas into technologies that truly matter on the road. The PR FESR Piemonte program strengthens this commitment and highlights the rising relevance of intelligent safety solutions in shaping the future of transportation.
